On February 22, 2017, the world lost Srinivas “Srinu” Kuchibhotla, a brilliant engineer, devoted husband, and cherished friend whose kindness and humility touched everyone he met.
Srinu came to the United States with aspirations for education, career growth, and opportunity. Like many who pursue higher education, he saw learning as a pathway to building a meaningful life and contributing positively to society.
Inspired by that meaning, the Lighthouse Legacy Scholarship continues Srinu’s spirit by supporting students who demonstrate leadership, perseverance, and a commitment to building meaningful futures through education.
Through this scholarship, Forever Welcome aims to invest in students working to build brighter futures for themselves and their communities.
